About Mrs. Cummings
Who is Mrs. Cummings???
Mrs. Cummings has been teaching in Volusia county schools for two decades, and at Holly Hill Middle School for fourteen years. She graduated from Stetson University in 1986 with a bachelor’s degree in English education. Her two passions in life have always been her students and her family. Mrs. Cummings’s husband, Bryan Cummings, is a math teacher at Galaxy Middle School in Deltona. Between the two of them, they have six children (Lindsey, Grace, Kyle, J.D., Emily, and Daniel) and two grandchildren (Brooklyn and Miles). If you ask Mrs. Cummings what she likes to do in her spare time, after laughing hysterically at the thought of “spare time,” she will tell you she enjoys photography, writing, gardening, bicycling, cooking, reading (go figure!), camping, and traveling. Her idea of a perfect Saturday is swimming, boogie boarding, and playing with her family at the beach, then eating dinner together at home, and watching a movie while snuggling under blankets on the living room floor.
